Easy Way

The cookbooks are here! 

 See the attached official order form for the cookbooks.  Print out a stack of the cookbook order forms, and ask everyone you know to place an order.  Orders should be mailed to Claire Adachi (see her information at the bottom of this page).

At the inception of this fund raising project, the NIPC membership goal was to have each Club member agree to purchase at least five (5) books on their own.  The members could take those 5 cookbooks and do whatever they want – keep them, give them to their Cadet, use them as gifts for anyone, or sell them to someone else.  If you decide to sell the cookbook to other people, it MUST BE SOLD FOR $10.00.

The most important thing to remember about these cookbooks, is that the recipes are EASY.  The book has recipes that every new 2^nd Lt. should be glad to try – because they are just right for the new cooks.  Every Cadet who likes to cook, who pops over to the Sponsors’ home, can have some great ideas for cooking.  It is a book that should be a treasure for anyone to have and to use.

The following may help explain the major points of this cookbook sale, distribution and marketing. 

• $10.00 per cookbook
• $5.00 shipping and handling, only if the book needs to be mailed
• No charge card capability – checks or cash only
• Books will be distributed at the Nominee Brunch on 2/18 and the Annual Meeting 3/18
• Special pick-up times & locations will be determined for the Club members who are not able to attend either of these 2 events
• Each NIPC member is asked to pre-order/purchase 5 (FIVE) Cookbooks.  This does not mean you have to absorb the $50.00 expense – sell the 5 books and get your out-of-pocket money back
• The Club is counting on your pre-paid orders – NIPC has a HUGE invoice to pay within 30 days.  When you submit your pre-paid orders for $50.00 – the Club treasury will not be paying one penny for this fundraiser.  Pure profit for NIPC
• We cannot SELL the books at the Nominee Brunch – USAFA has a rule of ‘no fund raising’ when there is a USAFA official at a Club function
• There will probably be extra books available for pick-up at the Brunch, if someone submits a late pre-paid order.

·        Purchase - Market – Sell – Distribute the Prepare to Serve The Easy Way cookbooks to any or all of the following:

o       Your Cadet

o       Yourself

o       Your Cadet’s sponsor family

o       Your Cadet’s roommate

o       Your Cadet’s Squad-mates

o       Your Cadet’s AOC, and Sq MT

o       Your Cadet’s friends who will be graduating from college too

o       Siblings

o       Grandparents

o       Aunts, uncles, cousins

o       Co-workers

o       Neighbors

o       Any high school grad or college grad who sends you a graduation announcement

o       The high school faculty who wrote letters of recommendation

o       The person who gave your Cadet the Nomination to the AFA

o       The office staff at the Politician’s office who worked hard for your Cadet’s Nomination

o       Any new cook

o       People who collect cookbooks

o       Bridal shower gift

o       Wedding gift

o       Holiday gifts…. start your shopping now

o       Etc., etc, etc……
